Stingers Travel Hockey
The Crystal Lake Stingers Hockey Club is a member of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) mite travel hockey division and the Chicago United Hockey League (CUHL). Under the guidance of Hockey Director, Steve Martins, the Stingers is designed to have young hockey players develop a love and passion for the game of hockey through skill development, practices and full-ice games.
The fall CUHL hockey season begins with tryouts in mid August and runs through playoffs in February. The official conclusion of the season is with Super Sunday, the first Sunday in March.
The Spring Tournament season begins with tryouts in mid March and concludes at the end of May.

Stingers Spring 2026 travel hockey season is available to players with birth years 2018, 2019 and 2020. Available to 2021 birth years with hockey director approval.
